Data in Albania regarding physical activity in adults or the third age are missing. INSTAT 2022 data show that the population of Albania is getting older. This is expressed by the percentage of people over 65 in comparison with youth (people under 15) from 2011 to 2022. Regardless of age, appropriate physical activity will bring about the necessary physique transformation (Wernbom et al., 2007). A suitable physical activity is strength and endurance training. According to forecasts, the number of senior citizens is expected to double by 2050 with approximately 1.5 billion (Erner, 2010). According to Chmelo et al., (2015) strength training has been recommended to improve physical functions in elderly individuals. However, it is muscle strength that has come out as a key element in physical function. Researcher Reid et al., (2014) prove that it is musculature power that decreases at a faster rate compared to musculature strength during the aging period.
